Description

Join us for a fun workshop and step up your fall decorations a bit. We will be creating Zentangle patterns on pumpkins. Once you learn this fun technique, you may want to create an entire pumpkin patch! An artificial pumpkin is recommended, but you can always work on the real thing with a few adjustments. These make fabulous fall gifts and décor for your home!

Supplies for an Artificial Pumpkin

An inexpensive foam or decorative pumpkin – you can find these at most dollar stores, on sale in the craft stores throughout the fall season or even Walmart. Any color, size or shape that suits your fancy will work.

Black Sharpie – a double ended Sharpie is recommended, but a general rule is the larger the pumpkin, the wider the pen you will use to work on your piece. Another alternative is the Sakura IdentiPen, if you have it.

Supplies for a Real Pumpkin

A pumpkin of any size or color, just make sure it’s not so heavy you have trouble holding it.

BLACK ACRYLIC PAINT PEN – you will need the acrylic paint pen when working on a natural pumpkin – the surface doesn’t take the ink from most pens, so the paint pen gives the best results.
